Bill Fraser was a former British SAS (Special Air Service) soldier who served in the military for over 20 years. He joined the army at the age of 18 and became a member of 22 SAS, an elite unit that specializes in unconventional warfare, counter-terrorism, and hostage rescue missions.
During his time in the SAS, Fraser was involved in numerous operations around the world, including in Northern Ireland, the Gulf War, and the Balkans conflict. He was also part of the team that rescued hostages during the Iranian embassy siege in London in 1980.
After retiring from the military, Fraser worked as a security consultant for various organizations, including the United Nations. He also wrote several books about his experiences in the SAS, including "Killing for the Company: Just Another Day at the Office," which was published in 2018.
Fraser passed away on March 2, 2020, at the age of 64.
